Could Sierra Leone be that trigger to a larger, more catastrophic war to rage across Africa and the Middle East? History shows us that big events are always caused by "smaller" people. Sierra Leone, a small country in Western Africa, some people don't even know about it. I'm sure most people know of Sierra Leone's neighboring countries, in which other civil wars rage on. Some wonder if a war will break out and crumble Africa to the ground.
The Arab Spring, the most recent and well-known event, could be compared to Sierra Leone. In the countries that it struck, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and many more; rebels rose up against government to form democracy. These up rises and civil wars that bring some African countries to near end. An African war and America's war in Afghanistan might create another horrible world war in which could bring serious repercussions to the worldwide economy and structure.
A war like that can be prevented. The United Nations, and intergovernmental group, could intervene. Bringing sanctions on governments that abuse power and some peaceful surrounding countries could give shelter to refugees, especially children.
Ultimately it'll came down to us. Will we bring destruction or peace?
